Why was my site declined?

There are several reasons that would cause a listing to not meet our guidelines, however there are things that you can improve and resubmit the site for review.

The following are things that we do not allow in the inventory:

  • Redirected sites
  • Sites built completely in flash
  • Sites with content that don't match the URL
  • Sites that are composed only of reselling any Amazon, Ebay, etc type products
  • Any type of free article sites
  • Sites with no recent content
  • Sites that are composed of only links to downloads, YouTube videos, flash games, etc
  • Sites built completely with content generators
  • Any sites that are hosted on free platform type sites, including blogspot and .wordpress
  • Sites with duplicate posts on the same site
  • Frameset sites
  • No Twitter or Facebook sites and/or pages
  • Sites with not enough content (see below for content requirements)
  • Sites with duplicate content. This includes scraping sites, using content from free article sites, etc. 
  • Site that the content doesn't match the URL of the site
  • Content must make sense and use correct grammar and spelling
  • No grayed out PR
The things that we are looking for are the following:

  • Sites on a domain that you own or pay for, hosted on a server you pay for
  • Sites with your own original content, nothing copied or scraped
  • Ensure the content you have on your site is helpful and insightful to your readers
  • Sites that have plenty of original content, at least 12-15 pages. This does not include your contact page, site map page, etc. 
  • Sites that are complete, no "under construction" pages 
  • Sites that have relevant content that match the URL of the domain
We are generally just looking for sites that you can tell someone has spent time and effort on building. They should be well constructed and visually appealing.
